GFIA Photo Gallery
(Click above link to view photos or to register/login)
The Photo Gallery is a free service available to registered users of the Guinea Fowl Forum. The pictures can be viewed by the general public and should come up in Internet searches. If you would like to set up an account and upload photos, you will need to register for the gallery in addition to the forum. Registration requires a registration ID. Please email the Gallery Administrator to request a registration ID.
After you have obtained a registration ID, go to the main page of the Photo Gallery and click on "Login" in the upper right corner. A small window will display. Click on "here" after the word "Register," and another small window will display. Enter your username (preferably your Guinea Fowl Forum username - without spaces - underscores and dashes are allowed), your password, and the registration ID. After a short while, you should be able to login to your account.
To upload pictures to your account folder, first click on the folder with your username, then click on "Upload" in the upper right corner. A window will open, but it might take a few seconds for the information to display. Click on "Add files" and then select the files from your computer that you would like to upload. After all files have been selected, click on "Upload." Pictures should be resized automatically.
Once your pictures are displayed on the page, you can add a caption by clicking on a photo and then clicking on "Caption" in the upper right corner. You cannot edit a caption, but you can rewrite it by adding a new caption.
Registered users can add a comment to any photo by clicking on "Comments" when viewing an individual photo.
There are many options for viewing the photos, which can be selected by clicking "Options." Not all options will work for everyone as some do not function with certain browsers or operating systems. It is unfortunate that Opera users, in particular, may have problems with the program.
If you have any questions or need assistance in uploading your photos, please email the Gallery Administrator or post your question on the message board. We'd be glad to help!
